SALARY RANGE: $5,712 - $9,140 / Monthly

JOB DUTIES:
Requires the application of technical skills of electrical engineering (power distribution focus) to the design of facilities and/or appurtenances to facilities. Prepare, read and/or interpret complex engineering drawings. Conduct formal presentations to plant personnel and other interested parties. Review cost estimates of projects for technical accuracy. Perform duties as a project design team member to coordinate and prepare technical aspects of engineering projects from inception to completion including project reviews, preliminary designs, design criteria, specifications, calculations, and design drawings; ability to review project submittals for compliance with project requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Technical knowledge of related engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computers. Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to Electrical Engineering; and ability to present information clearly and effectively through the oral and written word.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a Texas Professional Engineering License (PE), combined with at least 6 years of related experience. The applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 5480.20A (i.e., Bachelors' in engineering or related science, 2 years job-related and at least 1 year nuclear experience).
