We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced ELECTRO-CHEMISTRY ENGINEER with Electrolytic / Super Capacitors Research and Development (R&D) experience.  Our ideal candidate possesses the following:

 

Degree required in:Material Science & EngineeringChemical EngineeringElectrochemistry MetallurgyEXPERIEINCE in:3-7 years experience (depending on candidate’s level of education)R&D in wet tantalum/aluminumCathodesAnodesElectrolyte chemistryPackaging and Assembly (+)Analysis of electrical characteristics and failure mechanisms (+) Strong electrochemistry background

Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

Demonstrate experience in product development and quality assurance testingDemonstrate knowledge of experience within the super-capacitor and battery industry to benefit the operation goalsPrepare and present technical data to management 

Requirements:

Minimum 3 - 7 years documentable experience working within the electrolytic and battery industry Documented experience with the process of development and testing of new products Years of experience dependent on education

Education:

Bachelors Degree in one of the following REQUIRED:

ElectrochemistryChemical EngineeringChemistryMaterials Science and Engineering 

Education and required experience:

With a PhD, 3 years of related experience is required.

With a MS degree, 5 years of related experience is required.

With a BS degree, 7 years of related experience is required. 

 

Rate of Pay:

$60,000 to $70,000 Annually

 

Hours:

1st Shift

 

Type of Employment:

This is a full-time, permanent position

Commutable within the region of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
