We are seeking an experienced Engineer for our Codes and Standards group.

This position involves:

o         Providing technical support on ASME code and other national and international codes

o         Performing design reviews to ASME code and other foreign standards

o         Teaching technical seminars

o         Providing engineering consultations

o         Participating in AMSME B&PV code meetings in areas of expertise

Education:

Required: BSME or BS Civil/Structural Engineering

Desired: MSME or MS Civil/Structural Engineering

Work Experience:

Required: 3-5 years working with ASME B&PV Code.

Desired: 5-10 years in the boiler/pressure vessel industry in production, inspection or design engineering function.

Technical Skills:

Required: Experience working with ASME B&PV code. Experience using commercial pressure vessel design software, engineering worksheet software. Experience with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and Internet Explorer.

Desired: Experience using math CAD/similar engineering worksheet software. Experience working with International B&PV standards such as EN-13445, AS-1210, IBR. Experience with DOT cylinder fabrication. RPE. Experience with Lotus Notes.

Non-Technical Skills:

Required: Effective verbal and writing skills.

Other:

Required: The ability to travel domestic and international; up to 25%.
