Engineer (Cause Analyst) Summary of Position Duties:  This position provides technical expertise and support for root cause and corrective action activities and apparent cause determinations for the assigned site. This position will be actively engaged with site management and employees to ensure continuous improvement. Specific duties include: Performs causal analysis for the site Serves as root cause team leader or root cause analyst when assigned Performs apparent cause and basic cause determinations as assigned Performs effectiveness reviews of corrective actions from root cause and apparent cause reports Mentors other employees in performing apparent cause and basic determinations to ensure appropriate resources are applied to disposition plant problems Works with SNC peers to achieve fleet wide excellence in corrective action Performs root cause duties at other SNC plants as assigned Leadership Requirements: Unquestionable Trust: Honesty, respect, fairness and integrity drive behaviors.
