Job Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for service, design and promotion of power quality products in general and active filters in particular. Primarily addresses and services needs as well as conducts troubleshooting for installed and next-generation products. This position is responsible for managing and supervising field service work and technicians. Extensive communicating of product issues with marketing, manufacturing and interaction with customers (users of the product). Participation in engineering efforts for the design and implementation of new features as well as modifications of the products that are deemed necessary to improve the quality and reliability of the product. Educates field service technicians in the operation and service/repair of these products and how the products should be operated to meet customer's needs. Based in Salem, Oregon, the successful candidate will be required to travel all over the world up to 70%.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A.Responsible for commissioning services, including set up of the procedures.
B.Responsible for troubleshooting and field repairs.
C.Provide training for certification towards service/repair/commissioning AccuSine units, as well as training for operation and maintenance of AccuSine units.
D.Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through responsiveness to customer's needs, availability and follow-up efforts.
E.Feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing regarding quality and shortcomings of the products in the field.
F.Identify the need and be a source for product improvement pertaining to quality and reliability.
G.Participates in the design and testing of new or modified product features related to the efforts in E.
H.Maintain accurate documentation of service/repair activities for the benefit of either future referencing or to accumulate tangible problem solving experience.
I.Conduct and collect/organize data for failure rate analysis.
J.Responsible for updating product manuals (Instruction Bulletin, Service and Repair Manual)

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

A.Education Required:
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Having taken courses in power electronics or show maturity in designing power electronic circuits.
4 Year Degree or Equivalent

B.Experience Required:
10 years,
In Power Electronic converters, Adjustable Speed Drives, UPS
In related Electrical Industry

C.Supervision Required:
Performs tasks under general direction and demonstrating own initiatives.

D.Supervision Exercised:
Task Delegation - - for Exempt and non-exempt salaried employees.


PHYSICAL EQUIPMENT: ELECTRICAL DEVICES, SOFTWARE, MACHINES, TOOLS, ETC, USED IN THIS JOB:

•Microsoft Office (Word, EXCEL, Powerpoint).

•Digital storage scopes.

•Volt and Amp meters (up to 1000 V and 2000 Amp).

•Portable power monitoring equipment.

•Electronic and one-line schematic drawings.
