Physical natural gas scheduling needed to work with a leader in physical and financial energy trading , Investment Bank in NY A leading global financial services firm is seeking a specialist in physical natural gas scheduling and logistics to join a active growth oriented trading and marketing business. The physical gas business complements the long standing financial relationships that this investment bank has long maintained with producers, mid stream operators, financial counterparties, gas marketers municipalities and investor owned utilities. The Physical Gas Scheduling and Logistics specialist will be responsible for scheduling, balancing and optimizing gas flows across multiple pipelines in the United States and Canada. In addition, the specialist will develop strategy, policies, and procedures to optimize logistic capabilities as the physical trading business responds to changing market opportunities. Someone who really knows transport (capacity release) and storage, Perhaps a pipeline rep. The successful candidate will possess the following: B.S/B.A Relevant experience, 3-5 years in the physical gas space Background or coursework in engineering or accounting Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management Excellent technology skills with strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, look-ups and filtering) and PowerPoint skills Ability to quickly learn new software applications Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive Energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity Motivated to work in a demanding and active growth oriented organization Ability to communicate concepts and ideas, verbally and via documentation, and be able to defend their validity Please submit your CV in confidence, to discuss this and other similar positions.
