Exciting opportunity for a experienced "Hands On" Electrical Engineering Manager to join a market leading manufacturing company based in Long Island City, NY. You will be responsible for leading a team of 7-8 Electrical Engineers whilst still playing a "Hands On" lead design position.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing electrical control systems and communications, you will ideally be be degree qualified BSEE with a minimum of 5 years industry experience. You have to be fully capable of designing a mix of both analog and digital microprocessor based hardware for commercial communication/control environments.
A strong background in hardware and firmware in embedded microprocessor control products is essential. Any experience with regulatory certifications would be of benefit such as UL, CSA, FCC and/or CE.
