As an Electrical Power Engineer you will manage the refinery’s electric distribution system. Working with other engineers and other plant personnel, you will provide electrical reliability engineering support to meet the reliability plan for electrical utilization assets. This is a technical position responsible for evaluating design, code compliance and optimization of complex power systems. You will conduct testing, verification, corrective actions and commissioning of these electrical power systems ensuring they meet the highest safety, environmental and regulatory standards. Working closely with Electrical Utilities to define and communicate electrical activities within the Pine Bend Area, you will maintain refinery operations and keep management informed of these activities.

Work Experience/Skills Required: 
•Minimum 5 years experience performing power engineering functions in a large integrated industrial/manufacturing facility or utility 
B.S. Electrical Engineering

Work Experience/Skills Preferred: 
•Understanding of the engineering documents associated with electrical systems (one lines, panel schedules, schematics, wiring diagrams) 
•Understanding of electrical standards, industry trends, and governing body standards. 
•Applicable refinery or process industry experience. 
•Experience with medium voltage distribution.
