Electrical Engineer IV- Orange, CA
Senior electrical engineer with a minimum of 15 years experience in the design of electrical systems (power, control, lighting, communications, and grounding). Extensive experience in the design of medium voltage (15 kV) underground power distribution and a good familiarity with the application of MV transformers, switchgear and substations. Working experience in the design of prime power generators and design of power plant and/or central plant including SCADA and similar controls. Familiar with SKM engineering software and knowledgeable in the application and coordination of protective relays.
Requirements: Capable of performing effectively as a lead engineer for a large scale project . Develop the timely and accurate preparation of drawings, specifications, various electrical calculations and engineering cost estimates. Some knowledge of AUTOCAD is helpful. A Professional Engineering License (PE) is required. Good oral and written communicator. Dedicated and committed to meeting project budget, schedule. Willingness to travel to job sites and work in various project offices.
