DRS Technical Services Inc - Air Force Operations Division is seeking a dynamic individual as an Electrical Engineer (Intermediate).  This individual will provide Electrical Engineering support services to Tinker AFB.  This individual will work with the Air Force and required resources to achieve project objectives to include SOW requirements.

 

Position Summary

This individual will provide electrical engineering support for an Air Force maintenance complex. Must have progressive experience with complex mechanical, electromechanical and electrical/electronic systems.  Must have the skills to provide highly technical expertise for design, development, integrations, and analysis of complex mechanical, electromechanical and electrical/electronic systems and hardware systems. Must have experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment and have experience in troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

This individual will support the the Air Force in areas of maintenance, repair, upgrade, or transformation of electrical/electronic systems. Must have proegressive experience with manufacturing process development utilizing their undestanding of military specifications and certifications.  Will also be responsible for customer support and logistics to include but not limited to compiling data information, engineering documentation, directives, and process reports. Must interface with government personnel.

 

Basic Qualifications

Individual shall have a BS Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and four (4) years of progressively more complex experience in complex mechanical, electromechanical and eletrical/eletronic systems.  The applicant must also have the requisite skills to perform in all phases of hardware design, development, and documentation.  An understanding of facility and/or industrial quipment, electrical diagrams and schematics, and power systems preferred. Knowledge of national and local electrical codes also desired.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, customer service oriented, team player.
