Electrical Engineer - Industrial Facility Design - PE - Plant Layout - Process Industries - Heavy Manufacturing

Do you also have a PE license and at least 10-years experience in industrial facility electrical design / engineering relating to heavy manufacturing or process industries, such as metals, chemicals, petrochemicals, or power plants? We have Senior Electrical Engineer positions, near the Merrillville, IN and Pittsburgh, PA areas, with a dynamic and growing engineering and design firm. The firm provides engineering services to a variety of customers in various industries including chemicals, general heavy manufacturing, metals (ferrous and nonferrous), petrochemical, power generation, and refining, to name a few.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Technical analyses of electrical power systems including: short circuit, coordination, and load flow studies.
* Development of project scope, cost estimates, and assist with engineering proposal development
* Development of and compliance with client's engineering standards
* Support of engineering designers and CAD drafting personnel

Projects are located at sites in either the Northwest Indiana and greater Chicago areas, or greater Bensalem and Philadelphia, PA areas, respectively.

What you must have for this position:

* 10-years experience in electrical design / engineering as it relates to facility design for heavy manufacturing or process industries, such as steel, chemical, petrochemical, or power plants
* Electrical Engineering degree
* Professional Engineering ( PE ) License
* Management / Supervisory experience
* Good working knowledge of electrical power systems, process controls and PLC based systems
* Experience with a major engineering firm and job stability
