IMMEDIATE NEED!!!!!............Client is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer/Plant Engineer with 7-10+ years of experience on power plant electrical equipment & systems. You need a BSEE degree. A PE license is preferred. You need experience with the following: wye a delta systems, transformers (dry & oil filled), switchgear, and motor control centers. You need experience troubleshooting, testing and repairing transformers. You need a strong knowledge of station power upgrades including necessary system protection/system stability and relaying. You also need experience with generator construction (stator windings, blocking, end turns and field), generator relay protection, trouble shooting, repair and testing of various generator excitation systems. You also need experience in excitation retrofit projects with new solid state excitation systems. You need experience with sizing, testing & repairing electric motors. Knowledge of diesel generators is a plus, particularly older generation equipment. Knowledge of industry standards, policies & procedures (MG1, NEC, ANSI standards, etc...) for electrical switchgear and transformers a plus. • Detail your experience as an Electrical Plant Engineer in a power plant environment. How many years? Which power company?
• Do you have a BSEE degree? How about a PE?
• Detail your experience with wye a delta systems, transformers (dry & oil filled), electric motors, switchgear, & motor control centers. Do you have experience troubleshooting, testing and repairing these?
• Detail your knowledge of station power upgrades including necessary system protection & system stability and relaying.
• Detail your experience with generator construction (stator windings, blocking, end turns and field), generator relay protection, and troubleshooting, repair and testing of various generator excitation systems.
