Job Description
The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is committed to providing quality educational programs pertaining to economic education, personal financial education and the role of the Federal Reserve System. As such, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who can both contribute in a team environment and work independently.

This position is responsible for delivering educational programs and developing and maintaining partnerships with organizations to facilitate greater reach within defined geographies. Partners include K-16 state and local educational entities, foundations, and non-profit organizations; work includes creating and promoting educational programs, identifying and prioritizing educational needs, and utilizing multiple partners to implement programs; activities include providing/coordinating teacher training and student events for a targeted high school audience, preparing and delivering presentations on educational programs, conducting outreach activities to facilitate delivery of programs as specified in the business plan, and managing key partner relationships. Success relies also on working closely with peers in other geographies to inform them of the ongoing development and promotion of educational programs. The position may require up to 40% car and air travel within the local and regional area.

Essential Skills
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree desirable Demonstrated skill in managing and delivering educational programs to meet strategic objectives, particularly in the areas of social studies, economics, personal finance, or business Track record of developing a variety of partners to promote and deliver educational programming such as local school districts, foundations or community based organizations Experience planning, coordinating, marketing, and facilitating meetings, conferences, and seminars Expertise in preparing and delivering training programs and informational speeches Strong business communication skills including writing articles, reports, letters, and memos Ability to transform ideas into practical results Ability to forge positive working relationships with various personnel and departments within the Bank.

Additional Qualifications
Classroom teaching experience/certification a plus Background in educational non-profit or foundation work Familiarity and/or experience working with the No Child Left Behind Act, a plus, either in a school district, state organization, or non-profit environment Proficiency with MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
