Standard & Poor's is seeking an Editor for their Money Market Directory (MMD) department in Charlottesville, VA.
 
This position is responsible for updating and editing S&P Directory Services' database information through phone contact, Internet research, questionnaire editing and proofreading of all keyed data.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
Extensive telephone research to obtain updated information from non-respondents to insure that accurate and current information is published. Editing and keying returned questionnaires during the production cycle in accordance with established policies. Involves direct contact with all levels of executives to update profiles of individuals and corporations. Provide information and assistance on incoming calls from questionnaire respondents. Assist with proofreading all database changes. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Good communication and telephone skills necessary for the gathering and confirmation of existing data. Basic data entry and pc skills needed for updating the databases. Previous editing and proofreading experience helpful but not required. Finance knowledge a plus.
