Part-time faculty position: Economics

Castleton State College seeks qualified part-time faculty for Fall 2008 to teach a possible Macroeconomics or Microeconomics principles course. Minimum requirements: Master's degree in Economics (PhD or ABD preferred). Additionally, college-level teaching experience in Economics is strongly preferred. Heterodox approaches to economic theory are welcome. Castleton has placed a special value on the teaching roles of its faculty, and candidates for this position will be evaluated principally on the basis of their potential to be outstanding teachers and colleagues. Interviews will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The fall semester begins August 25, 2008.
