Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. provides innovative prescription medicines for primary care providers, hospitals and other health care facilities. PriCara, Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., is fully dedicated to serving the needs of primary care health care providers and their patients. Leading products include the anti-infective LEVAQUIN (levofloxacin), ACIPHEX (rabeprazole sodium) for acid reflux disease, and ULTRAM ER (tramadol HCl), which was launched in early 2006. The primary objective of the PriCara sales representative is to meet established sales goals to include market share objectives. The sales representative will be supported in this initiative by having the opportunity to execute national, regional and local promotional activities. These campaigns will be designed to advance sales in specific product lines and therapeutic areas. While in the field, you will be the direct line to our customers. Therefore, you will be able help us in our strategic initiatives by providing us with customer feedback and market place information. This feedback is an invaluable part of helping us to continually improve. By constantly communicating to our marketing management teams we will be able to refine our products and marketing initiatives. The successful representative will demonstrate the ability to target and manage their territory strategically while operating within an assigned budget. Qualifications
B.A./B.S. degree is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills, valid driver's license, clean driving record and the ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend) are required. Business to business sales, and/or Pharmaceutical, Medical or Healthcare experience is preferred, with compensation commensurate with their years and breadth of experience. Individuals able to produce documented sales results, examples of company awards, and/or those who have participated in a management development program are preferred. Individuals must live within the current geography or willing to relocate to it.
