Drywall Estimator/ Project Manager for Long Island

My client, a well known company in Long Island, just contacted me in search of a talented drywall estimator/ project manager.  This position just opened, due to a recent promotion within the company.  This premier drywall company confidentially retained my firm to identify an exceptional Drywall Project Manager with estimating experience.

 

This position will include the following tasks:

You will handle the execution of the jobs from start to finish You will prepare complete labor and material estimates You will be providing complete and accurate take-offs You will be determining and writing the scope of work for the project You will maintain blueprints, materials, and other pertinent information regarding the new project You will maintain a strong relationship with our company's current clients You will continually develop new potential clients You will follow our company's policy in strong customer-service and integrity

What type of background are we looking for?

·         An A candidate must have a proven track record in drywall project management

·         A successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and have the ability to multi-task

·         Candidates must be able to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction at all times

·         A preferred candidate has the drive and motivation to succeed, as well as possess a high-energy can-do attitude

·         Strong negotiation, communication, facilitation, time management, and organizational skills are a must!

·         Project management experience, good computer skills, and drywall industry knowledge are a plus!

·         Two-year degree is preferred, but not required

·         QuickBid OST software or equivalent is preferred, but not required
