We are currently recruiting for the following positions in these areas:

 

Northern California (SF Bay Area)

Southern California (Inland Empire area)

Northern Nevada (Elko, NV)

Arizona (Safford, AZ)

 

DRILLING HELPER (Rig Hand)

 

Helpers are responsible for assisting the Drill Operator in the operation of air/mud rotary, sonic, reverse rotary, casing hammer, and hollow stem auger drilling rigs. Experience in any of these environments is beneficial. Helper responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the drilling equipment and assisting the Driller in completing the operations. These operations require the physical ability for frequent heavy lifting, carrying, and using the various materials, tools, and equipment at the drill site to keep the rig in operation. Helpers will also assist with cleaning the rig, site housekeeping, and breakdown of the rigs for movement to the next location. These operations are carried out in urban as well as remote locations across the country and may require the Helper to be assigned to work away from their home city for extended periods.

 

Candidates with commercial drivers license (CDL Class A) strongly preferred.

 

DRILLING OPERATOR (Driller)

 

Qualifications as a Driller include experience operating air/mud rotary, sonic, reverse rotary, casing hammer, or hollow-stem auger drilling rigs. Operations are carried out in urban as well as remote locations across the country and may require the Helper to be assigned to work away from their home city for extended periods.

 

Candidates with commercial drivers license (CDL Class A) strongly preferred.

 

FIELD MANAGEMENT (Operations Manager, Superintendent, Supervisor)

 

Each of our Field Operations Managers is a drilling veteran with many years experience in the field, including having managed crews of operators handling air/mud rotary, sonic, reverse rotary, casing hammer, hollow-stem auger, or reverse circulation drilling rigs. We recruit the best individuals nationwide for these key positions in the WDC organization. Our managers have responsibility for running every aspect of his or her team’s projects. JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

Positions require frequent travel, shift work, the physical ability for heavy lifting, and heavy physical exertion. All applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening.
