Job Description: Basic Function:
Responsible for processing conventional an FHA loan request based on product, underwriting and investor guidelines, ensuring adherence to compliance procedures. Provide sufficient information for an underwriting decision while providing good customer service.
Responsibilities:
-Review FHA 203K & FNMA homestyle rehabilitation scopes of work
-Review draw release documents to ensure they comply with FHA/FNMA regulations
 and authorize the release of funds
-Provide direction to borrowers throughout the rehab process
-Compile necessary documents if changes in contractors(s) scope of work and
 completion date for underwriter or authorized agent.
-Access database
-Fiserve date responsibilities
-Back up or assist Loan review as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Associates degree or equivalent of two years business experience.
-One to two years prior mortgage experience preferably in mortgage processing.
-Solid knowledge of MS Word, MS Access and MS Excel
-Strong math skills
-Good problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to function independently within time constraints.
Ideal Qualifications:
-FHA knowledge
-Construction or renovation draw experience
-2-4 years of mortgage banking experience
-Fiserv/Unifi knowledge
