L-3 Enterprise IT Solutions, a division of L-3 Communications, is looking for a business development professional with experience in the information technology services arena. Experience must be related to information technology systems supporting joint combatant commands, and/or a miltary service major command organizations . Must have experience in dealing with CIO and/or middle level management, experience as an end-user, and experience as an IT systems provider in a joint combatant command and/or military service major command. Must have a current understanding of the organization of joint combatant commands in accordance with the unified command plan, and the planning, programming and budgeting process as it relates to joint commands, and the military services. Must have experience in the Federal procurement process including analysis/review of Federal RFPs. This position requires technical depth, the ability to formulate technical and business concepts, an in-depth knowledge of how federal agencies operate, the ability to interface with customers on a consultative level, and the ability to lead capture teams pursuing joint and military service opportunities. Additional experience in capture management and proposal writing is a plus.

Undergraduate degree is mandatory.
Current security clearance.
DoD background as a retired officer or senior non-commissioned officer (or equivalent civilian grade).
Service in a joint combatant command and/or military service major command.
Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
Previous military service and experience in the Pacific.

Experience in Shipley capture process, Miller-Heimann Strategic Selling program or equivalent.
A graduate of the a military Command and Staff College, War College or its Joint equivaleent
Successful attendance at Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase III
