Air Products Healthcare, one of the top five providers of home respiratory products and services in the U.S. and a subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.(NYSE:APD), is seeking a Documentation Specialist in our Covington, Georgia location. Job Description: A Documentation Specialist is responsible for performing all tasks relative to securing accurate medical documentation such as prescriptions and authorizations required for billing home medical equipment. Job Responsibilities: -Review all billing data information for accuracy. -Document and process all current and outstanding CMNs and authorization information. -Maintain an organized log of all medical supplies and equipment distributed by Air Products Healthcare. -Communicate with all customers in a timely and professional manner. -Abide by company policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. Job Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent; required. -Polite telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills (written and oral). -Computer literacy is strongly preferred. -Detail oriented and strong organizational skills. -Medical, Health Insurance or Home Medical Equipment background preferred.
