Merrill is currently seeking a talented Document Imaging & Print Technician for its Hartford, CT location. Working knowledge of any or all of the following is a preferred: LAW 5.0, IPRO Suite (IPRO Scan, IPRO Copy, IPRO EscanIT and related imaging management modules), DocuLex, Z-Print, Image Capture, OCR, Code, E-Discovery (EDD), MSAccess, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat (full version), Summation, Concordance, JFS Litigator’s Notebook IntroSpect, Ringtail. 

 

Experience & Qualifications

 

·      Associates or Bachelors degree – Information Management, Computer Science or Business Administration is a PLUS.   

·     A minimum of 2 years experience in the litigation support industry vendor/law firm (with a focus on imaging and digital printing).

·     Strong technical skills including database/imaging experience, and electronic discovery within a law firm or litigation support vendor;

·     Familiarity with image, OCR, load file technical requirements for: Concordance, Opticon, Summation, JFS Litigator’s Notebook, IntroSpect and Ringtail.

·     Knowledgeable in best practices for litigation support (for imaging, digital printing and a familiarity with electronic discovery)

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

Heavy on-site client interaction Develop technology solutions in a consultative manner to ensure client expectations are met and exceededDevelops project specific specifications, documentation and project schedules in accordance with client requirements Provides specifications to production staff, and ensures understanding of requirements by performing quality audits Coordinates data format and output issues with technical production staff Trouble shoots unforeseen situations, and consults with client to resolve issues. Communicates with production staff to track progress and ensure schedule compliance Keeps internal clients apprised of project status through status reporting Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication.
