DescriptionDMV Clerk You are responsible for managing the proper titling of all new, used and wholesale sales of the dealership. Should be able to carry small computer printouts and various files. Movement throughout the dealership is required. He/she is also responsible for the timely payment of floor planned vehicles.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensures that all retail transactions are processed on a timely basis, assisting as necessary.
Process all trade-in and independent purchase documentation.
Maintain accurate store logs for tag and title tracking.
Ensure that the store's tag and title work complies with all applicable state regulations.
Manage and reconcile the store's title inventory.
Prepare and verify necessary paperwork for submission to tag agency.

Issue refunds and collect shortages for tags and registrations.
EFT payoffs - Retail and RCL.
Collection of worthless checks.
Collection of receivables before the age of 30 days.
Review and maintain accounts receivable schedule.
Assist the Body Shop with their WIP list.
Prepare checks and remittance for the cashiers for deposit.
Review charge tickets for proper authorization.
Respond to credit inquiries and requests.
Print accounts receivable statements.
Respond to customer inquiries and requests.
Payoff floor plans in a timely fashion.
Prepare journal entries.
Periodically reconcile floor plan account.
Other duties assigned by the Controller/Office Manager. Required ExperienceAbility to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Strong mathematical ability.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
