We are looking for a Divisional Credit Sales Manager for the San Francisco, CA territory which includes the state of California.   This position works out of a home office that can based anywhere within the San Francisco or Los Angeles region with regular and frequent over night travel 60% of the time throughout the division.

Position Summary:

The Divisional Credit Sales Manager (DCSM) will support profitable acquisitions growth of Chase Credit Card programs by calling on local Partner retail contacts and locations to drive awareness of credit programs, new account acquisition, and credit sales. The DCSM will support assigned territory by partnering with Division and Region level management while visiting designated Partner locations to ensure the retail Partner credit program achieves the growth objectives through field training programs, servicing and program execution.

Job Description:

·          Cultivate relationships with Partners' customer contact staff and retail managers to enhance awareness, support and promotion of the card program.

·          Coordinate program details with the Division and Region management to execute in-store field marketing, credit promotion, and partner employee training programs.

·          Integrate credit specific training including card features and benefits into Division on-boarding training and conduct periodic on-going training for region management and stores.

·          Disseminate key requirements and best practices for presenting and selling credit at the point of sale to associates.

·          Ensure retail employees are provided with the tools and information needed to build card program awareness among customers, and seek incremental distribution and promotion opportunities.

·          Consult with region managers on materials management, in-store program design, marketing collateral, and implementation of in-store programs.

·          Increase awareness of Partner personnel incentive programs.

·          Conduct marketing compliance audits, periodically traveling with his/her Regional Manager.

·          Monitor performance metrics to evaluate market effectiveness relative to credit targets and recommend strategies and tactics to improve performance and efficiency.

 

Job Characteristics and Requirements:

·          Bachelors Degree or relevant work equivalent.

·          Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a sales and training environment.

·          Experience in retail preferred, banking or credit card experience desirable

·          Over night travel is required.

·          Experience in training people both one-on-one and in groups important

·          Ability to operate independently and manage time efficiently/effectively via a home office environment

·          Ability to inspire, motivate and engage the commitment of others

·          Strong influence, negotiation and problem solving skills

·          Self-motivated

·          Sense of urgency for goal achievement

·          Effective sales/communications skills (verbal and written)

·          Strong presentation skills a must

·          Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
