El Paso based company seeks executive to lead start-up business unit engaged in the production and administration of single family residential construction loans to the home building industry in El Paso County and the New Mexico markets.

Responsible for the construction lending unit’s entire portfolio and the profitability of lending activities.

Identifies, recruits and manages executive and administrative staff commensurate with activity levels

Contacts and solicits construction loan origination business from the home builder industry. Establish and maintain relationships with builder clients.

Communicates with land development group executives to identify product production opportunities and pricing parameters.

Establishes criteria for business unit activity levels (composite and component by sub-market and by builder client) and recommends business plan to executive committee

Well versed in and able to compete effectively for government loan and bond program allocations

Directs and coordinates formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations to maximize returns on investment and to increase productivity. Responsible for the profitability of the business unit.
