Leading real estate/property management company with a portfolio valued over $5.0 billion is looking for a Division Controller for their commercial team. You will be reporting to the Senior VP and managing annual audits and serve as a liaison between Operation and external auditors.

Responsibilities:

• Review quarterly consolidated financials and other investor reports

• Prepare GAAP/Tax/Market Value adjustments as necessary and assist in recording routine to complex transactions, such as interest rate hedges, FAS 141 entries, and partial and full sales of assets.

• Review of accounting data from project level and provide technical supports

• Prepare/track capital contributions and distributions in accordance with complex waterfall structures

• Ensure compliance with provisions of joint venture agreements, and fund documents

• Provide technical support for other departments on accounting issues

• Supervise and motivate accountants

Requirements:

BS degree in Accounting

7 - 10 years of related experience

CPA big plus

Real estate industry experience preferred
