Position Description: FirstComp is currently seeking a District Sales Manager to drive sales in the states of Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The District Sales Manager will be responsible for the supervision, training, and development of 5-10 Sales Managers within their assigned territory. Essential job duties include the following: Supervise 5-10 sales representatives Ensure execution of sales initiatives Responsible for training, mentoring, and performance improvement Distribute information to employees within region Attend agency visits with sales representatives Maintain expert knowledge on market conditions and trends within assigned district Develop relationships with top agencies in each sales territory within district Work with sales management team, underwriting, and sales representatives to achieve production goals in each state Coordinate programs, seminars and conventions in district
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business 3+ years outside sales experience High level of understanding of workers’ compensation markets in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas
Job Experience: Minimum Education Required: Bachelor Years of Experience Required: At Least 3 Years Expected Travel Time: More than 50%
