District Sales Manager
Successful, growing leader in the field of Directory Publishing and Direct Mail Advertising is seeking a District Sales Manager. The position will be headquartered in the St. Louis area with responsibility for Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan. Position requires about 50% travel.
Guide Book Publishing, founded in 1991, is an industry leader in publications serving the communications needs of churches of all denominations. GBP is a dynamic growth orientated company, presently in the midst of a double digit annual growth rate. Our customer base is national.
Ideal candidate will have a proven success record in hiring, teaching, training (in the field) and motivating a commissioned sales force of 10 to 15 individuals.
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
Capable of helping others to succeed understanding that through their success he/she will succeed.
Understands job responsibilities as well as accountability.
Be able to show Account Executives how it is done
Be able to teach Account Executives how it is done
Be able to train Account Executives how to do the work
Be able to motivate people to get desired results
Be able to manage using available tools
Compensation Package will include:
Base SalaryOver-ride Commission on your Account Executives
Commission on your personal sales
Insurance (Health & Life) 70% Company paid
401K Program with Company match
Car Allowance
Travel Expenses
First Year Potential: $50,000 plus
