Lincoln, a global leader in lubrication equipment and automated lubrication systems, is currently looking for a qualified District Sales Manager in the Chicago area.

 

The candidate should have distributor and territory management skills; strategic, value-added sales experience; technical, mechanical and application competency; as well as major market experience.

 

Territory Management

•          Run your territory like it’s your own business

•          Understand the needs of channel partners

•          Build successful relationships

•          Train, motivate and help others reach their potential

 

Distribution Partner Selection

•          Match distributor strengths with Lincoln’s needs          

•          Take pride in finding the absolute best partner

•          Be able to make the difficult decisions

 

Selling Experience

•          Prove at least five years as a sales professional

•          Be comfortable working with upper management

•          Know how to work major accounts

•          Demonstrate experience selling value-added products and services

•          Know how to qualify, negotiate and reach agreements

•          Focus on project management

 

Major Markets Covered

•          General industrial manufacturing

•          Off-road, mobile construction equipment

•          On-road trucks and trailers

•          Food and beverage

 

Other markets include Railroad, Steel

Pulp & Paper, Injection Molding, Ink,

Gas Transmission and Wind Energy.                             

 

Time management

Education

•          Possess a four-year college degree
