The District Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing marketing programs which support sales growth, client retention and improved profit margins in several accounts within a designated district of ARAMARK Higher Education.  This position reports to the Associate Regional Marketing Director with indirect reporting to the District Manager.  The District Marketing Manager helps to support all critical business initiatives including sales growth, market penetration, customer retention, quality image, improved margins and market share for their units and ARAMARK Higher Education.  This position directly manages Unit Marketing Coordinators within the district. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Responsible for supporting operations management in developing unit-specific programs and strategies to improve market penetration and increase plan participation through out their designated district Ensure necessary trainings and in-unit support are provided to the component and that brand standards are fully executed at all identified points of service, resulting in sustainable growth in sales, customer satisfaction and increased profits Develops a systematic approach to planning, organizing, controlling and tracking marketing projects for region & corporate teams Develop and maintain library of best practices, including but not limited to, photo library and case studies as related to marketing initiatives Responsible for driving changes that result in profitable base business growth for the unit and for our clients Interact with client management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of the client organization Supports front line management with administration of marketing training and development programs for employees Looks for opportunities to implement new products and services which support sales growth and client retention Participate in the contract re-bid/extension process Promotes ARAMARK brands and new products/concepts Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Business Administration or related field) with a minimum of three to five years of relevant field marketing experience. Strong communication skills are required, along with, effective sales and presentation skills. Contract-managed service experience is desired.
