District Sales Manager

This is a seasonal position.  This candidate would work for Spirit Halloween Superstores from July 21st to November 15th.

Spirit Supervisory Responsibilities include:

v     Manage four-to-six Spirit Halloween Superstores

v     Secure the Permits and Licenses when necessary

v     Supervise the Construction/Build out of the stores

v     Merchandise/Set the store according to plan

v     Staff/Train Store Managers/Assistant Managers

v     Instruct Store employees on the importance of providing Customer Service to satisfy the guest and help build sales

v     Motivate the Store Team to think outside the box to achieve/exceed the Sales goals  

v     Partner with Human Resources to handle Personnel issues

v     Be involved in the day-to-day operation of the stores

v     Control Payroll Expense and meet Expense budgets

v     Control District and Store P & L Expense

v     Verify that Bank Deposits are made daily

v     Make sure stores are prepped and ready for Inventory

v     Pack up all goods able to be sold next year following Company guidelines

Requirements:

v     Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook and MS Office programs

v     HS Diploma or equivalent required

v     Minimum of two years experience at store level or above and two-to-five years experience in multi-unit retail management

v     Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation

v     Able to pass Company Background Check

v     Available to travel, including overnight stays when necessary

v     Able to communicate effectively with landlords, realtors, city officials, etc

v     Be available to attend a one week Training session at the Spirit Home Office
