District Manager –

                                                                                                   

Directs the ongoing operations and activities in assigned area toward the accomplishment of regional objectives.Help define and achieve district objectives; helps develop specific short and long-range plans and programs together with supporting budget requests.Assumes responsibility for decisions on specific/special problems regarding operating equipment and operations personnel.Works closely to coordinate operations and customer requirements for the best outcome possible.Works closely with other company managers regarding personnel policies, procedures, and budget planning and execution.Assists in the development of the annual operating budget for assigned area and responsible for executing and maintaining this budgetResponsible for ensuring that operating procedures necessary for an efficient, effective operating organization are in place and followed throughout districtMakes suggestions on corporate operations and engineering practices and proceduresEnsures all safety guidelines are in place, understood, properly managed relative to safety and environmental needs/requirements, and ensures all personnel make safety a top priority. Ensures personnel are properly recruited and trained, and gives feedback about their performance.Provides direction staff, individually and collectively, in an effort to establish and accomplish goals supporting organizational performance.Sets the example in planning, motivating, and maintaining a high level of performance.  Responsible for personnel planning and development, team building, and manpower requirements within areas of responsibility.Performs other duties as required to achieve results.Maintains the district operating budget.Responsible for the operation of company assests in assigned area.Maintains effective relationships with customer representatives, resolving issues and maximizing opportunities for continued growth and additional new business.

 

Desired Training and Education:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (preferably in Engineering);

8+ years management experience of large multi-site organization preferably in the oil and gas service business.
