Job Description: District Manager – YP Outside Advertising Sales
The District Manager will be responsible for bi-weekly sales production; canvas control, measuring and monitoring results from his/her representatives and on going relations with our Local Insight Yellow Pages and Independent Telephone Companies. He/she will provide frontline leadership and support that allows our representatives to flourish in a sales environment by following the sales and training modules established by the organization. Expectations will include handling all revenue prior to Telco Close, meeting and exceeding all sales and customer objectives, operating his/her unit in a team setting by working in concert with peers and complying with all company practices and procedures.
Job Function:
1.) Coaching the unit, including review company policy, establishment of goals, coaching and training, measuring and monitoring results.
2.) Provide clear and effective suggestions to improve performance, observe and participate in actual sales calls and role playing.
3.) Work with other departments in the organization and Area Vice President to ensure that all materials for the sales canvas are set up in plenty of time to meet the scheduled sales/canvas begin dates to include the marketing organization in the preparation of the canvas plan and debriefs.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience:
1-3 Years Directory sales management experience
POSITION IS BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION
