ULTA Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. is one of the largest beauty destinations in the U.S. for cosmetics, fragrance and salon services., Our corporate office and original Distribution Center, located in Bolingbrook, Illinois, houses 700 corporate and distribution center employees including finance, human resources, merchandising, IT, marketing, real estate, logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, shipping/receiving and inventory management. This position supervises 30+ DC associates and reports to the Distribution Center Manager
•Manage your area of responsibility and large team, such as fulfillment, pick and pack, shipping, receiving, to ensure Key Performance Indicators are met with productivity and quality at or above targeted levels.
•Provide leadership and maintain a team attitude environment.
•Train and performance manage direct reports regarding training, performance management, associate motivation and leadership skills.
•Ensure that DC is safe and secure.
•Identify operational opportunities and develop improvement methods and procedures.
•Flexibility to occasionally cover other shifts
•Significant walking.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATION TO BE CONSIDERED.....
•College degree preferred
•Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in an RF/scanning environment. Heavy piece pick volume preferred.
•Excellent leadership and people development skills.
•Thorough knowledge of RF Scanner and warehouse management systems functionality.
•Experience with training, usage, and safety of material handling equipment.
•PC proficient with MS Word, MS Excel. SAP strongly preferred.
•Flexibility to occasionally cover other shifts
