We are currently seeking a Director-Tax to join our Finance Team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.

This position is responsible for assisting the VP-Tax with complicated tax matters, calculating and analyzing international income tax matters, special projects and income tax audits. Responsibilities include accumulating, analyzing and monitoring international tax attributes including tax compliance requirements, US Forms 5471, Int'l dividends/IRC 956 loans and Earnings and Profits, assisting Tax VP and Audit manager with various income tax audits, will perform tax research and planning as required, calculate US ETI benefits and Domestic Manufacturing benefits, and oversee compliance with the NYS Insurance Dept. for the CA Captive Insurance company. Additionally this person must remain abreast of accounting and tax law changes and ensure SOX compliance for CA's international units.

Key Requirements:

* 4 or more years tax compliance experience including federal and state income tax, public accounting experience is a plus
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the flexibility to change direction upon request
* Excellent research and writing skills
* Ability to perform tax research and reach conclusions
* Proficiency in MS Office and CORPTAX
* Ability to travel 5% annually as required
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting coupled with a CPA and/or an MS in Taxation is strongly preferred
