The Economist Intelligence Unit is currently seeking a talented Sales Training and Development Manager. The main purpose of the role is to manage the training and development of the global sales team including documenting those processes and procedures. The individual will work in partnership with the SVP Publisher to achieve our personnel development and growth objectives. 

Requirements:
•BS/BA, Advanced degree desired. Must have sales and business understanding. Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.

•Experienced sales executive with proven track record preferred

•Training and development experience with large organization(s)

•Experience in publishing, media, research or conferences desirable

•Knowledge of curriculum design and delivery

•Demonstrated ability to partner with and coach key business partners/leaders

•Knowledge of sales processes and techniques

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

•CRM system knowledge; Salesforce.com knowledge preferred

•Excellent English, written and spoken

•Self motivated, driver that works collaboratively with internal and external contacts

•Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

•Ability to find innovative solutions

•Desire to measure performance and perform at a high level

•Bright and business savvy to understand the goals of the
business and how people and people processes help fulfill those goal

•Ability to design and deliver training events

•Ability to project manage and deliver to deadline

•Effective communication skills

•Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
