Adecco, the Global Leader in Staffing & HR Solutions is looking for a Director of Real Estate Management to join their team. Manages a branch footprint of over 900 branches across North America exceeding $50 million in annual lease value. Responsible for the sourcing and negotiations of new real estate transactions, as well as the continuous design and construction work on the branches. Reduces costs and increases utilization of square footage. Responsible for managing real estate governance and processes. Enforces brand distinctiveness of the branch footprint. Manages substantial real estate outsourcing partner relationship—including a network of brokers. Supports transformation efforts designed to rationalize, optimize, and consolidate the branch footprint—to include managing change with business leaders. Responsible for facilitating cross-line of business consolidations within branches and managing the complexities of varying brand and business model considerations. Provides guidance, leadership and support to the Real Estate Management Team. Must have minimum of five to seven years in Real Estate Management with at least two years in a supervisory capacity required. Must have substantial experience managing commercial real estate transactions, brokers, and design and construction projects. Must have experience managing vendor outsourcing relationships and senior management relationships. Must have strong financial acumen. Must have a strong ability to analyze real estate cost components effectively and translate into ROI and other economic assessments. Ability to problem solve. Former Big-5 consulting firm experience preferred. Hunger and ability to drive change and transform the organization. Hunger and ability to reduce costs and get best value for dollar on real estate transactions. Strong leadership capabilities. General knowledge, familiarity and comprehension of standard United States commercial, regulatory and best business practices required . Keeps abreast of market conditions and industry developments.
