DIRECTOR

RADIOLOGY

The Director of Radiology is responsible for directing activities of staff engaged in providing radiology services to ensure quality patient care through use of most current techniques and proper use of department's equipment. Directs the activities of the Radiology Services to include the managers, supervisors, PACS specialist, technologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and support staff. Interviews, hires, orient and trains staff. Evaluates performance and provides feedback.

The position requires a Master's degree, ARRT certification, 6 years progressive management experience, and extensive knowledge of radiology regulations, services and modalities. Additionally, knowledge of human resource polices and procedures, skill in developing and maintaining positive relationships with physicians and other healthcare staff and providers, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
