Position:                  Director of Sales and Marketing

 

Location:                 Dania, FL

Salary/Wage:          USD $50,000 - $60,000/year, plus bonus potential             

Status:                     Full Time Employee

Director of Sales and Marketing

Dania, FL – Boomers Family Entertainment Center

 

 

Duties:

Provides leadership and strategic direction for a 3 person sales team Actively participates in prospecting new clients and rebooking past business and leading key sales accountsCultivates, develops and manages sales relationships with businesses, associations, schools, youth organizations, camp groups and religious groups Manages marketing expense and revenue budget Manages and provides sales direction to sales managers and sales coordinator Directly responsible for attaining the Group Sales and Park revenue goal by renewing existing business and generating new business Develops local market promotions and general public marketing programs to drive family and teen businessWorks with collateral and Work collaboratively with corporate marketing to integrate sales programs and advertising programs

 

 

Requirements:

3 Years outside sales experience (preferably in the attractions or hospitality industry), 1 year sales management experience College degree or 3 years successful outside sales experience at theme park, water park,  family entertainment center, hospitality industryStrong organizational skills Demonstrated outside sales success Good working knowledge of all sales distribution channels Must be able to work extended hours and weekends when necessary Must be an effective communicator and team player Self starter with strong work ethic and a “can do” positive attitude Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
