JOB DESCRIPTION

With over 100 locations nationwide in 37 states, PMD is now expanding and is currently seeking either a (a) director of sales or (b) owner/operator. The opportunity to purchase the dealership as an owner-operator is available immediately or over time, depending on the qualifications of the candidate.

Job responsibilities include:

 

1. Directing all sales and operations for a single, home-furnishings, retail dealership.

2. Managing the local advertising, marketing and promotional campaigns in the defined territory under the direction of company management.

3. Performing sales presentations of national brands and of PMD's private label furniture line to pre-qualified customers. Cold calling or prospecting is strictly prohibited under PMD's marketing and sales program.

4. Maximizing the sales, profits, and net income potential of the dealership in the defined territory.

5. Participating in PMD-sponsored local training seminars and national sales conferences, including rewards trips, if qualified.

6. Launching new programs and product rollouts within the defined territory with company approval and under the direction of company management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Previous track record of success; demonstrated ability to learn and apply new ideas; past experience utilizing one-on-one communication skills; 4-year degree
