The Job: Director of Products

The Description:

The candidate for this position will lead the product management team and will work closely with the sales and marketing communications teams to create and implement Infopia's product strategy.  

The Responsibilities:

Provide leadership for Infopia’s platform solutions Ownership for the creation of Marketing Requirement Documents (MRD) for Infopia’s  products.  This includes:Prioritized set of functional specificationsBusiness case inclusive of revenue projections.  Competitive analysis, positioning, messaging, value proposition, differentiation and other information necessary to represent the benefits of developing the product.  Implies deep understanding of industry trendsDetailed assessment of customer preferences.  Developed in partnership with the Infopia product leadership council, engineering, professional services, and various customers.Outbound responsibilities include substantial interaction with customers, sales, and professional services.Additional interaction with industry analysts, thought leaders, key consultants, members of the press, customer councils and focus groups.  The product manager nust present the current product roadmap, technical features and capabilities and provide an excellent presentation and demonstration of the product and its business value.  Inbound responsibilities include substantial interaction with engineering, product management, finance, legal, marketing and business development.

 

The Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and experience, MBA preferred5+ years software/technology marketing and/or product management leadershipExtensive experience in ecommerce and/or SaaS as Leader of Product ManagementExcellent persuasive oral and written communication skills Knowledge of the eCommerce industry Strong analytical skills Positive, upbeat and assertive personality Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision Strong experience and knowledge about current eCommerce business intelligence tools and applications with a working knowledge of one of the toolsets of a major vendor (Google, Omniture, Web Trends, Web Site Story, etc.)Knowledge of SAAS architectures, product release processes, and customer deployment and configuration experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The Compensation:

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, an employee stock option program, 401k, health care, and disability insurance.
