A New York State hospital is seeking a qualified Director of Pharmacy.  This challenging opportunity would be ideal for an experienced Director or Assistant Director looking to broaden their experience and be a part of an excellent healthcare system.

 

The Director of Pharmacy candidate would need to possess the ability to:  work independently and handle stress well, work cooperatively with all members of the pharmacy department and other hospital staff, multi-task, adapt to changes in amount of daily work, be flexible in their schedule, set priorities/make goals and accomplish them, and respond properly to patient concerns by demonstrating excellent customer service skills.  The candidate must be able to create a team environment by providing proper pharmacy orientations and training to pharmacy staff.

Requirements

Must possess previous hospital Director of Pharmacy experience or Assistant Director of Pharmacy experienceBS or Pharm D from an accredited college or university pharmacy programMust have great customer service skillsMust have proven leadership and management skills in a hospital setting
