Director of Nursing Services

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Description

We provide a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.

Manages nursing department in nursing center to maintain quality standards of care, and advises medical staff, department heads, and Administrator in matters related to nursing service.
*Interprets nursing philosophy and establishes departmental goals and objectives.
*Institutes organizational structure and communications systems which include all levels of nursing staff to promote effective care delivery.
*Directs the nursing staff in its entirety. May exercise direction over the entire center staff in the absence of the Administrator.

Position Requirements

1-6 years in long-term or acute health care experience preferred. At least 2 years nursing supervisory experience required.
*Lifting 10 lbs. frequently and occasionally lifting 50 lbs. maximum.
*Travel as required for regional or corporate meetings and marketing duties.
