DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Texas School of Business is part of Kaplan Higher Education, a division of Kaplan, Inc. and The Washington Post Company. Currently, we have exciting leadership opportunities to oversee our vocational nursing programs at our Houston campuses.

You’ll provide overall leadership for our new nursing program as you evaluate curriculum and teaching methods; hire, train, and direct staff; and prepare faculty and supply budgets. You’ll also pursue active membership in professional nursing organizations and attend relevant conferences and classes.

Requirements
Successful candidate will have a BSN (master’s preferred) from an accredited college or university including course work in nursing, education and leadership, as well as 2 years experience as an RN providing direct patient care. A background of 2 years in teaching and clinical supervision with nursing education administration preferred in a state approved RN or VN program.
