Position Information

 

The Director will be responsible for the oversight of five medical/surgical oncology and renal transplant inpatient care units, the IV therapy team, the outpatient ambulatory clinics, as well as the cancer institute with more than 134-beds total, and nursing staff functioning throughout the cancer programs.  

 

Will oversee 235 FTEs with 15 direct reports.

 

Reports to the Senior Vice President of Nursing.

 

Qualified candidates will be master’s prepared nurses with previous management experience, proven leadership ability, and strong relationship building skills.  A background in oncology preferred.

 

Ideal candidates will be innovative, creative professionals who like to be change agents, are focused on quality of care and patient satisfaction, and possess a high level of energy.

 

Experience within a union environment a plus.
