Unit Summary:  Located in the heart of Wisconsin’s beautiful north woods, the Mohican North Star Casino & Bingo is owned and operated by the Stockbridge- Munsee Band of Mohicans.  The facility is currently under the first phase of expansion which includes 1,400 slot machines, 32 table games, family style restaurant and deli, parking garage and entertainment lounge.  This project is

slated to be completed in fall of 2008.  The second phase of expansion includes

a 150 room hotel, convention center, entertainment center with bingo, spa and steak house. This is expected to be completed in the later part of 2009.

Your role:  Responsible for the oversight and management of lodging, food & beverage and spa operations.  Sets and monitors departmental budgets and goals and reviews quarterly.    Responsible for ensuring high standards of operational excellence and guest service. Implements DNC operational standards and controls. Directs the hiring, training and development of all staff under management oversight.  Supervise departmental directors, including work assignments and performance development. Assists GM with other responsibilities as assigned.

Our Expectations:  Qualified associates must have a minimum of 7 years hotel operations experience, including food & beverage management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, in addition to outstanding leadership and organization skills are also required.
