Are you looking for a visible Finance leadership role in a growing public company? Widmer Brothers Brewing Company, Inc. in Portland, OR is currently seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team to be an important contributor as we prepare for the merger of the Widmer and Redhook Breweries later in the year.  The Director role reports to our CFO and will play a critical role in the Finance department’s operation.

Specific Duties (include but are not limited to):

·        Lead the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts in close coordination with operating department managers.  The budget and forecasts include development of the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements as well as the capital expenditure budget.

·        Develop financial assessments of strategic partnerships and participate in negotiation of agreements.

·        Develop and refine the corporate long-term strategic financial model in conjunction with the CFO.

·        Partner with accounting and business unit leaders to create insightful, timely monthly variance analyses during the financial close.

·        Perform ad-hoc financial analysis such as regional profitability, product profitability, or capital expenditure return-on-investment analysis.

·        Identify and assist the implementation of profit improvement efforts company-wide.

·        Provide internal and competitive analysis for strategic initiatives.

Position Requirements:

·        Must have Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance.

·        7+ years experience in broad-based financial analysis roles preferably in a manufacturing environment.

·        MBA, CPA or CMA certification preferred.

·        Must have a great attitude and possess strong communication skills.

·        Must have demonstrated financial and technical knowledge.

·        Knowledge of MAS 500, FRx reporting, and Microsoft Forecaster is a plus.

·        Strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
