Director of Finance
ELM Resources (www.elmresources.com) is searching for an experienced contract administration/risk & compliance professional with strong competency in the areas of procurement, contract negotiations and administration, risk & compliance reviews, evaluations and mitigation implementations. This position will report to CFO-SVP.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Director of Pricing, Accounting, and Financial Analysis
· Major responsibilities:
o Establish best practices and supporting documentation for all pricing related to members, affiliates, servicers, guarantors and any additional future revenue items
o Manage all accounting and billing activities to ensure accurate and timely collections and invoice payments within agreed upon terms
o Review and establish standard accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP and ensure compliance with SOX’s control requirements
o Manage and coordinate the monthly and year-end close process
o Conduct internal department monthly close reviews
o Report to the CFO-SVP on information security risks, activities, progress and plans
o Respond to Member/Affiliate/Servicer financial and billing requests
o Respond to external requests related to membership status changes
o Manage and direct the annual external audit
o Special tasks as assigned by CFO-SVP
Requirements
· Requirements for experience and education.
o Bachelor degree required – Finance, Accounting or Business preferred
o MBA/CPA preferred
o 10-15 years experience in the following areas:
§ Finance
§ Accounting
§ Pricing models and methodologies
§ GAAP
§ Familiar with student loan industry
§ SAS70 and/or SOX 404 experience and knowledge
· Required skills.
o Excellent written & verbal communication skills
o Ability to work with all areas and levels of the organization
o Able to dive into the details as well as maintain the strategic goals
