Our client is a global pharma and medical device company is seeking talented executive professionals with exceptional leadership personalities. The right candidate must have plant and manufacturing experience, plant reporting, cost accounting experience. Foreign currencies experience a plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The responsibilities of this position includes consolidation and reporting multi plant network, strategic planning and modeling, and partnering with the leadership team to assist in meeting goals. In addition, this position will be responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements to both the finance and operations' leadership teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee the month end closing process, including fixed and variable account analysis, inventory, standard margin, inventory adjustments, headcount analysis, etc.
· Oversee the preparation and issuance of accurate and timely monthly financial statements on both a management and statutory basis.
· Review and consolidate annual standard cost roll process.
· Ensure standard costs consistency across the network.
· Review and consolidate the monthly projections, which includes process development and ongoing tracking/monitoring of results.
· Develop the Global Operations' Strategic Plan.
· Review, approve and consolidate the annual budget.
· Work closely with Operations' Leadership Team in developing and reviewing key performance indicators (KPI).
· Develop the annual transfer pricing multiples and review adequacy of the division's statutory profits periodically.
· Review and approve capital expenditure requests, including ROI, IRR and discounted cash flow calculations.
· Review and approve disposal of asset requests.
· Responsible for assets (inventory) controls, including cycle count programs.
· Drive employee engagement and staff development.
· Review Sarbanes Oxley documentation and testing.
· Assist in the annual audits performed by both Internal and External auditors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 15 years of accounting experience with 5+ years managing people.
· Strong computer skills are required.
· Self motivated and team oriented.
EDUCATION:
· B.S. in Accounting required, additional degrees or certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA) and knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion are a plus.
