Director of Finance – Consumer Division

Must have CPA 

 

We are looking for a Director of Finance to lead the Accounting and Finance functions for our Consumer Division based in Seattle, Washington.  The Consumer Division drives approximately $80M of annual revenue with more than 1,400 employees. The position reports directly to the Company’s CFO in Atlanta, Georgia, and reports indirectly to the President of the Consumer Division located in Seattle. The span of control includes 3 direct reports and approximately 30 departmental employees.

The Director of Finance is the focal point for all accounting and finance related responsibilities of this Division. The Department’s areas of functional responsibility include accounting and financial reporting, AR and AP, Payroll, Cash and Payment Processing.

The key responsibilities for this position include strategic planning and budgeting, forecasting, operational support, financial analysis and interpretation, business case justifications, metrics management, cash flow management, and other managerial responsibilities required to lead a large department. 

More specifically this position will:

ð        Develop an annual budget in concert with management team.

ð        Establish and monitor a system of internal controls and internal audit procedures to assure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and prudent business practices.

ð        Coordinate annual audit with external audit firm and provide timely and accurate information for completion of the audit and annual IRS reporting.

ð        Oversee various systems to maintain general ledger; cash flow and bank reconciliations; payroll services; financial reporting, fixed assets, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and the inflow of debtor payments.

ð        Remain vigilant for opportunities to reduce expenses and increase revenues; bring such possibilities to the CFO’s attention.

ð        Maintain confidentiality of all financial, corporate, and personnel information.

ð        Establish and maintain a system to safeguard the assets and records of the corporation.

ð        Complete required reports, forms and questionnaires for regulatory and funding entities.

ð        Lead and develop departmental employees through specific training and on-the-job supervision.

ð        Work as a team with Operational Management to improve performance and profitability.

ð        Perform other duties as assigned by the CRI CFO.


The ideal candidate will:

ð        Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 8-10 years related experience and a CPA license.

ð        Have demonstrated ability to successfully manage a large department of accounting/financial personnel.

ð        Be polished, articulate and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

ð        Have specific experience that demonstrates leadership and execution.

ð        Experience with Oracle Financials is preferred.
